How to operate the ALT-5560T garage door lock body to lock and unlock?

2. Lock operation
Preparation:
Make sure the garage door is closed and no people or vehicles are passing through. Check the lock body and surrounding environment to ensure that there are no foreign objects blocking the extension of the lock tongue. Have the necessary tools ready, such as remote controls, keys, or fingerprint readers.
Manual lock:
If the lock body supports manual locking function, the user can directly push the lock tongue into the lock hole manually to complete the locking. During the manual locking process, make sure that the lock tongue is fully extended into the lock hole and a clear "click" sound can be heard, indicating that the lock is successful.
Remote lock:
If using the remote control for locking, the user must first ensure that the remote control battery has sufficient power. Press the "Lock" button on the remote control and observe whether the garage door lock body responds. After the lock is successful, the lock body will make a short sound or light prompt, and the remote control will also display a successful lock logo.
Smart lock:
For locks equipped with intelligent unlocking methods such as fingerprint recognition and password input, users need to follow the steps in the manual to set and save. When locking is required, the user only needs to press the registered fingerprint in the fingerprint recognition area or enter the correct password to complete the locking.
3. Unlocking operation
Preparation:
Before unlocking, you should ensure your own safety to avoid accidents when the garage door is opened. Check your surroundings to make sure the unlocking process will not be disrupted.
Manual unlock:
For lock bodies that support manual unlocking, the user can directly pull the lock tongue out of the lock hole to complete the unlocking. During the manual unlocking process, ensure smooth operation to avoid damaging the lock body with excessive force.
Remote unlocking:
When using the remote control to unlock, the user needs to press the "unlock" button on the remote control first.
Observe whether the garage door lock body responds and wait for the deadbolt to retract automatically. After the lock is successfully unlocked, the lock body will make a sound or light prompt, and the remote control will also display a successful unlock logo.
Smart unlocking:
When using fingerprint recognition or password input to unlock, the user only needs to press the registered fingerprint in the fingerprint recognition area or enter the correct password. After successful verification, the lock body will automatically retract the lock tongue to complete the unlocking.
4. Precautions
During operation, make sure your hands are dry to avoid slippery operation errors. Regularly check the battery power of the lock body and the wear of mechanical parts, and replace the battery or repair the lock body in time. If you encounter a situation where it cannot be locked or unlocked, do not force the operation and contact a professional for inspection and repair.
